Agenda: Sept 16th 2024

Our Goal This Year is to Grow our scholarships and members. 

1. C3- Everyone in attendance was in agreement that we should become official. Kim was going to check if we could use the Motorcarriers address as the office address. If not we could assign it to a Board member, we would have to change the address once a new member in that title was elected. Waiting to hear what the other members on the board think so we can finalize. This process takes a few months. We would want it finalized before our next golf outing. vote if that is in best interest of council.

2. Do we add not only Trucking Fleets But Med and Light Duty Fleets to Council to expand our Sponsors and Members. vote if that is in best interest of council.

3. Wisconsin Motor Carriers is going to bring up at next meeting for the carriers, if the  Fleet Maintenance could be absorbed into Wisconsin Motor carriers. What would that look like and what benefits that would bring to the council. Bringing more Fleets to the table. and vote if that is in best interest of council. 

4. Create New Bi-laws For Council. Bring Suggestions. We will vote on them with one of these forms and discuss at our October Meeting.  

5. Website- Everyone was in agreement that we should get a new website that incorporates payments, sponsorships and social media before our first meeting. Cost of square space averages 28.00 a month. pay for a full year. Plus Go Daddy for site page . We will have pages for training, supporting members, our schools affiliated etc.  Looking for a sponsor for Website or we can look at raising the rate for everyone. Or Just Vendors. to cover the expense. vote if that is in best interest of council. 500.00 Sponsor, this will cover some of the fees for our squared, website and url. 

6. Education: Members volunteering to speak at the schools on our industry bringing in more scholarship recipients. vote if that is in best interest of council.

7. Do we bring in Fox Valley Technical College, into the fold. They have expressed interest. Or do we have two chapters in our organization and call ourselves the Wisconsin Fleet Maintenance Council. To Make Room for growth. vote if that is in best interest of council.

8. Name Change to Wisconsin Fleet Maintenance Council as we grow to add more schools and Fleets in Wisconsin. ( Kwik Trips, Etc of the world) ( Fox Valley Tech etc) Everyone was in agreement and needed agreement from the rest of the members. vote if that is in best interest of council.

9. Business Card Sponsor : 50.00, vote if that is in best interest of council. 

10. Bring Training Ideas, We are looking for more ideas , certifications etc. We are going to look at ways to add value to our meetings and bring in more fleets. 

We will give you more notice going forward, everything will be handled through the website, payments, events, calendars, schedulers, scholarships etc. blog and member pages. we will run our social media through it. it is going to make being a member more user friendly. 

 This meeting :

Dues for this year will be 100.00 and meals will be 25.00.
